In 1959 — when Pakistan was twelve years old — the late Engineer Izhar Ahmad Qureshi founded Izhar Engineering. He earned a highly reputed name in the veteran engineer's community of the country. The Group he built has now entered its sixth decade of pioneering construction operations and has grown into a multifaceted organisation with authority over various innovative and economical building techniques.
The introduction of pre-fabricated steel buildings and mechanical fabrication revolutionised industrial construction in Pakistan and cemented the Group's standing as one of the largest multidimensional engineering entities in the country. Izhar Housing brings affordable luxury living. The parent activity of pre-casting continues — through generations — to produce a wide variety of high-quality pre-cast and pre-stressed structural concrete members for industrial, commercial, educational, and infrastructure projects.

Izhar Foster applies the Group's engineering rigour to a single discipline: the temperature spectrum. We design, manufacture, install, and service cold stores, PIR sandwich panels, refrigeration systems, prefabricated structures, controlled atmosphere stores, and insulated doors — across Pakistan, end-to-end, under one roof.
Many years ago, the World Health Organization banned polyurethane (PU) panel manufacturing because the foam process was found to cause cancer in humans and the gases released damaged the ozone layer. Izhar Foster took the lead — discontinuing PU and replacing it with polyisocyanurate (PIR) panel manufacturing: human-friendly, ozone-friendly, with superior thermal insulation and stronger fire resistance. Today, Izhar Foster is Pakistan's largest manufacturer of PIR sandwich panels, produced in our own factory on 36-KM Multan Road, Lahore.
Every facility we build keeps something alive: a fruit grower's harvest moving to export, a vaccine on its way to a rural clinic, the daily milk supply of a city. Cold isn't an abstract specification for us — it's the difference between waste and value, and we engineer it accordingly.
