This privacy policy explains how Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited ("Izhar Foster", "we", "us") — a private limited company incorporated in Pakistan, with registered office at Izhar House, 35-Tipu Block, New Garden Town, Lahore — collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to izharfoster.com and people who contact us for quotes, service, or other engineering enquiries.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to anyone who visits our website, submits a contact form, requests a quote by phone, WhatsApp, or email, downloads a spec sheet, uses one of our engineering calculators, or otherwise interacts with us through any digital channel. It applies whether you are an individual, a representative of a company, a consultant, or a contractor acting on behalf of a third party.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to enquiries, produce quotations, and deliver projects. Specifically:

  • Contact information you provide voluntarily — name, company, role, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and city/region. This is collected when you submit a quote request, send a service enquiry, subscribe to updates, or call/message our team.
  • Project requirement details — capacity, temperature range, product type, site location, intended use, and any technical specifications you share to help us scope a quotation.
  • Calculator inputs — when you use our engineering calculators (load calculator, condenser sizer, A2L room area, capacity planner, etc.), the inputs and results are processed entirely in your browser. We do not transmit calculator inputs to our servers unless you explicitly choose "Email this quote" or "Save & send".
  • Website analytics — pages viewed, approximate location (city-level), device type, referring source, and time on page, collected via Google Analytics 4. This is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
  • Server logs — IP address, user agent, request URL, response code, timestamp. Retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes for up to 90 days.

3. What we do not collect

  • We do not collect financial details, CNIC numbers, NTN numbers, or banking information through this website. Such information, when required for a contract or invoice, is collected directly through formal commercial documentation.
  • We do not require account creation. There is no login, and we store no passwords.
  • We do not run third-party advertising on this site, and we do not allow third-party advertisers to track you.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your quote request, service enquiry, or technical question.
  • To prepare a written quotation, technical proposal, or specification sheet.
  • To follow up on past enquiries with relevant updates, where you have indicated interest.
  • To improve our website, product pages, and engineering tools based on aggregate usage patterns.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations under Pakistan law.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We share information only with:

  • Internal teams — sales, engineering, project management, and service teams within Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited and, where relevant, sister companies within the Izhar Group, on a need-to-know basis.
  • Service providers under confidentiality — our hosting provider (Vercel), email infrastructure, and analytics platform (Google Analytics 4). These are bound by their own privacy and data-processing terms.
  • Authorities — only where legally compelled by a court order, regulator, or government agency under the laws of Pakistan.

6. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies. Essential cookies (Vercel analytics ID, session) are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled. Optional cookies (Google Analytics) are used only if you continue browsing the site after the first page view; they can be blocked in your browser settings without affecting site functionality.

7. Retention

Quote and enquiry records are retained for as long as the commercial relationship is active, plus seven (7) years for tax and audit purposes as required by Pakistani statutory record-keeping rules. Aggregate analytics data is retained for up to fourteen (14) months. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete information, subject to our statutory record-keeping obligations.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing follow-ups at any time by replying "stop" to any email or WhatsApp message.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@izharfoster.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, modern TLS, and a strict Content Security Policy. Internal access to enquiry and project records is restricted to authorised employees under role-based controls. We perform regular reviews of our hosting and analytics providers' security posture.

10. International transfers

Some of our service providers (Vercel hosting, Google Analytics) may process data outside Pakistan, including in the United States and the European Union. These providers operate under their own internationally recognised data protection frameworks. By using this site, you acknowledge that such transfers may occur.

11. Children

Our website and services are aimed at engineering, procurement, and business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently done so, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, services, or business practice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 30 days.
