These terms govern your use of izharfoster.com, the engineering calculator suite at /tools, downloadable spec sheets, and any other content or service made available through this site by Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited ("Izhar Foster", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the site you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited is a private limited company incorporated in Pakistan, registered office at Izhar House, 35-Tipu Block, New Garden Town, Lahore 54000. We are the cold-chain division of Izhar Engineering and part of the Izhar Group, founded 1959. Our manufacturing facility is at 36-KM Multan Road, Lahore.

2. Quotations and enquiries

Information published on this site, including indicative price ranges, capacity figures, lead times, and technical specifications, is for general reference only and does not constitute a binding offer or contract. Pricing varies with site conditions, specification, refrigerant choice, electrical infrastructure, civil readiness, and current commodity costs. A binding price is established only by a written quotation issued under a specific reference number and signed by an authorised Izhar Foster representative.

Quotations are typically valid for 30 days from issue unless otherwise stated. Acceptance requires written confirmation, an advance payment as specified in the quotation, and signed terms of supply. The terms of any subsequent contract supersede these website terms in respect of that contract.

3. Engineering calculators and tools

The calculators at /tools — including the load calculator, energy cost comparator, A2L room area calculator, refrigerant charge tool, condenser sizing calculator, capacity planner, and CA atmosphere selector — are provided for indicative engineering reference only.

The methodology behind each tool is documented inline and cited (ASHRAE Handbook chapters, IEC standards, NIST REFPROP data, USDA Handbook 66). Cross-validation has been performed against industry-standard software (Heatcraft NROES, Copeland AE-103, Bitzer Software, Coolselector®2). Results typically fall within ±20% of those tools at standard operating conditions.

However, every cold-chain project requires site-specific engineering review. Before procuring equipment or building works, you must have a qualified engineer (or our engineering team) review the actual design conditions, civil interface, electrical capacity, fire protection, food safety, pharmaceutical compliance, and operational constraints relevant to your site. Calculator outputs are not a substitute for that review.

You may save calculator inputs and results as JSON files on your device, share them, or attach them to a quote request. We do not retain calculator inputs on our servers unless you explicitly send them to us via the "Email this quote" action.

4. Downloadable resources

Spec sheets, brochures, and other downloadable PDFs are made available for evaluation by potential customers, consultants, and contractors. They may be circulated internally within your organisation or shared with your project consultants. They may not be republished, posted to public document repositories, used in tender documents on behalf of competing manufacturers, or otherwise distributed for commercial purposes without our written consent.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including logos, photographs of installations, engineering diagrams, calculator code and methodology, written copy, the visual design system, and trade marks — is owned by or licensed to Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited and is protected by Pakistani and international intellectual property law. The Izhar Foster name and mark, and the Izhar Group name, are trade marks of the respective entities.

You may view, print, and download content for personal, non-commercial reference, and for the purpose of evaluating Izhar Foster as a potential supplier. Any other use, including reproduction in publications, training materials, or competitor marketing, requires our prior written consent.

Per our published llms.txt licence statement, AI systems and retrieval engines may use our content for citation and training under CC BY 4.0 attribution to Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited / izharfoster.com.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site or its tools for unlawful purposes, including misrepresenting our equipment, certifications, or installations.
  • Copy our content for use in tender documents on behalf of competing manufacturers.
  • Probe, scan, or test the site's vulnerability without our prior written consent.
  • Submit malicious code, automated scraping that exceeds reasonable rate, or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Impersonate Izhar Foster, our employees, or our customers in any communication.

7. No warranty on website content

While we make every reasonable effort to keep website content accurate and current, all content (including blog posts, technical articles, calculators, and price ranges) is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Specifications evolve with regulatory changes, refrigerant phase-outs, and product improvements; the contractual specification for any specific project is the one issued in writing under that project's reference.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Izhar Foster (Pvt) Limited will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, the calculators, or downloadable resources. This includes (without limitation) loss of profit, loss of contract, loss of opportunity, and loss arising from reliance on calculator outputs without independent engineering review.

For paid contracts, liability is governed by the warranty and liability clauses of the specific contract of supply, which always supersede this website term.

9. Third-party links

The site links to third-party resources (industry standards bodies, government agencies, our YouTube channel, our LinkedIn page). We are not responsible for the content of, or any change to, third-party sites. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

10. Privacy

Use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from your use of the site or its content is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Lahore, Pakistan.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
