−40°C → +25°C

Cold stores engineered around your product — not a catalogue.

Walk-in chillers, walk-in freezers, blast chillers, blast freezers, and ambient storage rooms — each custom-designed around your product, throughput, and site. Built with our own PIR panels and integrated refrigeration.

Cold Stores

A cold store is not a single product — it's an integrated system of building envelope, refrigeration, doors, controls, and (often) racking. Get any one of those wrong and the whole facility runs poorly, costs more to operate, and risks product loss.

Izhar Foster builds high-performance cold stores that ensure the preservation, freshness, and integrity of perishable and non-perishable goods. We manufacture our own PIR sandwich panels, integrate them with refrigeration matched to load, and install with our own engineering teams.

Cold store types we deliver

Chiller cold storage (0 to +10 °C)

Short to medium-term storage of fresh produce, dairy, poultry, meats, and pharmaceuticals. Stable temperature, controlled humidity, and hygienic finishes are the priorities here.

Walk-in chillers (0 to +5 °C)

Larger-capacity chiller units for bulk storage of meats, seafood, and produce — purpose-built for the way your operators actually move stock.

Walk-in freezers (−18 to −25 °C)

Commercial kitchens, distribution centres, and food processors needing dependable frozen storage. Specified with thicker PIR cores (100–150 mm) and matched refrigeration.

Blast chillers (+70 °C → +3 °C in 90 min)

Rapid temperature reduction for food processing and catering — protecting product safety and quality across the food danger zone.

Blast freezers

Industrial units that bring product core temperature to −18 °C using air as cold as −40 °C. Critical for meat, seafood, and bakery export operations.

Compact blast freezers

Smaller-footprint units for restaurants, central kitchens, and small processors needing rapid freezing in a constrained space.

Ambient and dry storage (+15 to +25 °C)

Temperature-controlled storage for non-perishable items that still need a stable environment — packaged foods, certain pharmaceuticals, and sensitive electronics.

Applications

Where cold stores are used.

Each application has different temperature, hygiene, and compliance demands. We've delivered for all of them.

Methodology & sources

Storage values are reference targets for properly pre-cooled commodities of standard variety, surface texture, and packaging. Real-world shelf life depends on harvest discipline, pre-cool, ethylene management, room loading, and door-opening frequency. Use the load calculator to size a room around your specific product, target temperature, and infiltration assumptions.

Before you ask

The technical questions buyers ask first.

If you're sizing a project right now, these are the answers we give every day on first calls.

01What's the smallest cold store you'll build?
We've delivered rooms under 50 m³ for restaurants, pharmacies, and small processors. There's no minimum — only a sensible engineering fit.
02How long does installation take?
Typical cold rooms 6–8 weeks from order to commissioning. Larger or specialised projects 10–16 weeks. Site readiness affects timing.
03Do you handle the civil works too?
We design the slab specifications, drainage, and pre-installation civil interface. Most clients use a local civil contractor for the slab itself, working to our drawings.
04Voltage stabilisation and backup power?
Our refrigeration designs assume Pakistan's grid realities. Generator integration, soft starters, and voltage stabilisers are part of standard scope where needed.
