Muhammad Anwar

Forty years of refrigeration in Pakistan.

Muhammad Anwar leads business development at Izhar Foster — Pakistan's largest manufacturer of PIR sandwich panels and the cold-chain division of Izhar Engineering since 1959. He has been with Izhar Foster since 2018, promoted to General Manager Business Development in 2023.

Before Izhar Foster, he spent 28 years at KoldKraft — first as Production Manager (1988–2014), then Operations Manager — building the manufacturing side of one of Pakistan's earliest cold-chain equipment makers. That production-floor background means he reads cold storage projects from both the manufacturing and the commercial side, working directly with food, pharmaceutical, beverage, and 3PL clients from initial brief through commissioning.

He holds a Diploma of Associate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering from Government College of Technology (1975–1979). He writes on the Izhar Foster blog about cold storage cost, blast freezing, refrigeration systems, PIR sandwich panel performance, and energy efficiency in industrial cold chains.
