Every product have different physical and chemical properties and required different temperature to extend its shelf life. Following are the common food preservation temperatures.

Common food preservation cold rooms temperature is as below:

1. Frozen food (-20 ℃ or so long shelf life)

Frozen food quality between -25 ℃ ~ -18 ℃ will be relatively stable, if higher than this temperature, the shelf life will be correspondingly shortened, the taste will change.

2. Meat (-18 ℃ most appropriate)

Beef, mutton should be frozen in -18 ℃ environment to save, to maintain the integrity of the cell wall, is conducive to the retention of water. If the cold storage is at -2 ℃ ~ 5 ℃ conditions, meat can be kept for up to one week.

3. Vegetables (not less than 0 ℃)

4. Fruit (different types, different temperatures required)

Banana most appropriate preservation temperature is about 13 ℃; orange 4 ℃ ~ 5 ℃; apple -1 ℃ ~ 4 ℃; mango 10 ℃ ~ 13 ℃; papaya 7 ℃; litchi 7 ℃ ~ 10 ℃, so litchi Not suitable for storage in the refrigerator.

5. Fruit juice (8 ℃ ~ 10 ℃ most nutritious)

7. Soft drinks (4 ℃ ~ 5 ℃ the most thirst)
